“I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now, and you may as well do it now, generally speaking, now is as good.”
A short, but effective, read, which urges you to consider living in the now, building your confidence, and embracing your failures. Examples are used, such as the success stories of J. K. Rowling, and Richard Branson.
‘It’s difficult to take action towards a goal, if deep down you don’t really have the belief that you can achieve it.’
‘When a negative thought comes into your head, you can either dwell on it, or take the negativity and create a positive from it (e.g a lesson learned, and or perhaps thanking your lucky stars the situation wasn’t worse.)’
‘You become who you surround yourself with. Your friends are like elevators. They either take you up or pull you down.’
Sensible ideas that made me think of my own negative thoughts, and put them in a different light.
